It would be such a Browns thing for Cleveland to use its No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft on a quarterback prospect with the fewest starts of any of the top prospects at the position.

North Carolina's Mitch Trubisky started only 12 games, far fewer than Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer or Clemson's DeShaun Watson.

But Trubisky hails from Mentor, Ohio, which gives him a Northeast Ohio pedigree, like the last Browns QB who captivated the fan base, Bernie Kosar.
