The Gatorade Player of the Year in Florida once planned to play his college ball for the Miami Hurricanes, but Ohio State managed to flip running back Marcus Crowley at just the right time. The Buckeyes hoped to replace Sampson James. (James chose Indiana over OSU.) They got Crowley to visit for the Nebraska game, in which the Buckeyes rushed for 229 yards. That, of course, helped convince him to pick the Scarlet and Gray. During his senior year, Crowley rushed for 2,325 yards and 20 touchdowns.
